Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Lead DevOps Architect for a hybrid FinTech role in a dynamic team. You will design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and cloud infrastructure, driving automation, security, and reliability across development and operations.

You will mentor engineers, define DevOps best practices, and partner with cross-functional groups to continuously improve delivery and performance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years in IT operations, software development, or system administration with at least 4 years in DevOps architecture.
• Proven expertise designing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or CircleCI.
• Strong IaC experience with Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Hands-on with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containers (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Solid networking, security, and monitoring knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design, architect, and implement CI/CD pipelines and automation strategies.
• Develop and manage infrastructure-as-code solutions (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• Architect cloud infrastructure with emphasis on automation, scalability, and security.
• Establish DevOps best practices: version control, CI/CD, and monitoring.
• Lead tool selection and integration for DevOps tech stack.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.
• Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting for apps and infra.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to DevOps engineers.
• Troubleshoot complex build/deployment issues and stabilize environments.
• Define and track KPIs for DevOps processes and reliability.
