Job summary

CTI Clinical Trial Services is seeking a Systems Analyst, Laboratory Applications in Bilbao, Spain. You will manage routine activities for laboratory applications, install and support LIMS systems, and lead projects to on-time, on-budget completion.

You will work with users at all levels, develop reports, train end users, and ensure compliance with 21 CFR Part 11 and lab certifications. A strong background in LIMS, SQL, and LabWare is required.

• 5 years of experience managing Information Technology systems.
• Working experience with SQL and reporting systems.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Information Technology.
• Thorough understanding of LabWare LIMS.
• Experience in a help desk environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage routine activities and configuration related to all laboratory applications.
• Install, configure, maintain, and support assigned laboratory systems.
• Lead projects to completion on time and on budget.
• Provide high-level customer service, troubleshooting, reporting, and training on lab systems.
• Analyze issues reported by users and identify solutions.
• Train end users on new technologies and enhancements to laboratory systems.
• Perform disaster recovery testing and documentation.
• Maintain documentation per CTI SOPs including 21 CFR Part 11 validation and lab certifications.
• Identify areas where technology can improve laboratory processes and user productivity.
• Provide onsite support for computer systems, hardware, software, and telecoms.
• Procure and install new electronic devices; set up as required.
• Assist with implementing and supporting third party applications.
• Assist with testing and validation.
• Manage inventory of IT equipment and supplies while watching the budget.
