Westinghouse Nuclear Spain SAU in Vila-Seca, Tarragona offers a full-time hybrid role as Fluid Systems Engineer I. The position blends 70% on-site work with 30% remote days, reporting to the ANAV Supervisor Engineer.

You will perform thermal-hydraulic and piping networks design, size pumps, valves, tanks, and heat exchangers, and coordinate across disciplines. Requirements include an Engineering degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Nuclear fields, 1+ years of experience, proficiency in MathCad,

Formación

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Nuclear).
• Master's degree in Nuclear Engineering preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency with MathCad, MATLAB, VBA, FATHOM or ARROW.
• Familiarity with ASME, ANSI, ASHRAE, NFP or API standards.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Ability to travel to Westinghouse or customer sites (international travel included).

Responsabilidades

• Perform thermal-hydraulic and piping networks engineering design.
• Develop sizing requirements for equipment (pump, valve, tank, heat exchanger, HVAC).
• Identify technical issues and propose practical solutions.
• Support engineering staff in design and analysis activities.
• Coordinate with I&C, electrical, civil/structural, licensing, and layout teams.
• Communicate progress and results to lead engineers and project management.
• Collaborate with construction and operations teams, internally and externally.
• Participate in meetings with customers, vendors, and regulators.
• Complete work within defined scope, budget, and schedule.
