Planteria Group is seeking a Financial Controller to lead the finance function from our HQ in Henham, Bishop’s Stortford. You will own month-end close, management reporting, budgeting and cashflow, partnering with senior leaders to drive profitability and sustainable growth.

You will manage a team of five, build robust controls, ensure VAT and taxes compliance, and continuously improve processes. This hands-on role suits a qualified accountant who can balance strategic insight with day-to-day

Formación

• Recognised accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent.
• Experience leading a Finance function (Financial Controller/Finance Manager or similar).
• Proven track record building and managing high-performing finance teams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the Finance Team and drive a high-performing culture.
• Own month-end and year-end close with accurate reporting.
• Produce and review management accounts with insightful analysis.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting with department heads.
• Drive cashflow management and working capital performance.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable and credit control.
• Ensure robust financial controls and reconciliation of balance sheets.
• Manage VAT, PAYE, CIS, corporation tax and other compliance.
• Partner with stakeholders to challenge performance and improve profitability.
• Drive continuous improvement of finance processes and reporting.
