Westinghouse Electric Company in San Sebastián de los Reyes, Spain, invites applications for an EHS intern. This is a paid, 25-hour-per-week internship with a six-month duration starting in September–October, reporting to the EHS Manager in a hybrid setup with potential course credit.

You will help develop and implement health and safety training plans, conduct safety inspections and risk assessments, investigate incidents, and draft HS documents for customer sites.

Formación

• Enroll in a bachelor or master's degree in EHS or related.
• We don't require previous experience.
• Be able to do an internship university agreement.
• High english level.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement practices to identify/reduce hazardous conditions within the workplace and external environments.
• Safety inspections and risk assessments' assistance.
• Investigate accidents and environmental incidents and partnering with engineers, management, and health and safety regulatory authorities to identify causes of accidents and prevent their recurrence.
• Provide advice and training on safety protocols and conducting audits to ensure compliance with organization and government standards related to environmental and employee health and safety.
• Draft documents for the access of workers at customer's facilities (H&S Plans, staff individual accreditations, training evidences, Personal Protection Equipment distribution).
• Entry-level position typically requiring little to no prior knowledge or experience.
• You follow routine work or standard procedures and manages.
