Job summary

T-Systems in Spain invites a DevOps/Platform Engineer to join a dynamic, international IT operations team. You will manage IT applications, monitor platforms, coordinate with external partners, and contribute to service delivery across lab and production environments.

The role emphasizes hands-on cloud, IaC, CI/CD, and observability, with on-call responsibilities as needed. You will collaborate with stakeholders and lead projects to improve stability and security.

Qualifications

• Hands-on expertise with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows systems.
• Proficiency in API management and deployment automation (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Mastery of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog) and security practices (IAM, vulnerability scanning).
• Excellent communication to gather business requirements and translate them into technical plans.
• Experience leading Agile or Scrum projects.
• Experience coordinating internal teams and external IT service providers.
• Ability to manage SLAs with hosting/dev partners.

Responsibilities

• Perform operations, monitoring, documentation, deployments, and troubleshooting of the platform and related services.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across laboratory and production environments to ensure seamless operational readiness.
• Coordinate technical activities and service delivery with the external vendor HCL.
• Participate in on-call support and incident response activities.
• Apply TCP/IP networking, system tracing, and root cause analysis in Linux environments.
• Lead projects for the implementation of new solutions and the enhancement of existing systems and services.
