Job summary

RemoteStar is seeking a DevOps Engineer for a hybrid role across Madrid and Guadalajara. You will work on-site three days a week, with at least one day in Guadalajara, and help build scalable, secure infrastructure in AWS, automate deployment, and support mission-critical APIs.

You will collaborate with software and operations teams to optimize performance, implement robust CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration with Docker/Kubernetes, and monitor systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 2-5 years of DevOps experience.
• Experience with AWS Cloud and large-scale, secure, HA solutions (Terraform/CloudFormation).
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD, GH Actions, Jenkins).
• Experience deploying, managing, and optimizing APIs in production.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in Bash, Python, or Go.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Good English; ideally another EU language.

• Implement DevOps strategies for the organization.
• Automate software delivery with development and operations teams.
