Making Science is seeking a Data Engineer to build end-to-end data workflows and robust ETL/ELT processes. You will design data warehouse structures and create advanced dashboards for internal stakeholders, enabling better business decisions.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in data roles, strong SQL, cloud exposure (GCP/Looker Studio), Python skills, and familiarity with Git, CI/CD, DBT, and Airflow. Flexible hours with remote day one per week are offered.

Formación

• 2–3 years of experience as Data Engineer or Data Analyst.
• Strong SQL skills and data warehouse development experience.
• Hands-on cloud experience, preferably GCP and Looker Studio.
• Proven dashboards in Power BI or Looker.
• Python for data manipulation and automation.
• Git for version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• DBT and Airflow knowledge is a strong plus.
• Degree in CS/Engineering/Math or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Build end-to-end data workflows from ingestion to insights.
• Develop ETL/ELT with DBT and Airflow; design data warehouses and marts.
• Create dashboards in Power BI or Looker for internal stakeholders.
• Implement data quality controls and governance across the repo.
• Collaborate with internal teams to translate requirements into data solutions.
• Apply software engineering best practices using Git, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.
