TravelPerk is seeking an experienced Analytics Engineer to transform raw data into trusted datasets and visualisations for business users. You will design ELT pipelines, model data, and build Looker dashboards that empower large teams.

The role requires strong SQL, dbt, data warehousing and collaboration with Analysts to optimise reporting. You will work with Snowflake/BigQuery/Redshift and adopt modern data stack practices in a hub-based, in-person-friendly setup.

Formación

• Multiple years of experience in a data-focused role (Analytics Engineer, Data Analyst, BI Developer).
• Expert-level proficiency in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.
• Hands-on experience with dbt (Data Build Tool) or similar data transformation frameworks.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT principles, and dimensional modelling.
• Proficiency with Git for collaborative development and version control.
• Familiarity with Looker for data visualization.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain transformation best practices in ELT pipelines using dbt.
• Design data models optimised for reporting and analytics with CI/CD and testing.
• Create comprehensive data quality checks and maintain documentation.
• Collaborate with data analysts and business users to meet reporting needs.
• Tune SQL queries and data models to improve warehouse performance.
• Champion modern data stack tools and practices (Git, CI/CD).
• Build scalable, compelling data visualisations in Looker for large teams.
