Job summary

Client Server Limited is hiring a C# Software Engineer / Team Lead in Madrid with hybrid WFH. You will lead the squad, own architecture, design APIs, and guide production operations while remaining hands-on with code across the stack.

Expect to mentor engineers, drive best practices, and champion AI adoption. You’ll work with Product Managers on roadmaps and priorities, and participate in architecture reviews.

Qualifications

• Strong team leadership within software engineering.
• Expertise in backend C# .NET and distributed systems design.
• Frontend experience with Vue.js, React or modern Angular.
• Proficient in SQL and relational databases.
• Production AWS experience (SQS, DynamoDB, S3, ECS, Lambda).
• Experience owning CI/CD and release processes (GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on with AI/code tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot).
• Excellent collaboration and stakeholder communication; payments/regulated industry exposure a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the squad across architecture, development, delivery and production operations.
• Write production code and tackle complex technical challenges.
• Own system architecture, API design and technical decisions.
• Mentor the team and drive continuous improvement and best practices.
• Collaborate with Product Managers on roadmaps and priorities.
