Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Getafe, Madrid, is seeking a Communications Systems Product Manager for Combat Aircraft. You will lead the design, development and certification of the Communications System (HW/SW) and ensure technical delivery on schedule and budget.

You will coordinate multifunctional teams, manage development lifecycle from offer to flight clearance, and liaise with engineering, program and customer offices to meet regulatory and program requirements.

Formación

• This position requires an engineering degree in Aeronautical, Telecommunications or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an engineering related field.
• Avionics HW and SW integration experience is highly valued.
• Background in technical team management and project management.
• Willingness to travel and strong communication and decision-making abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design, development and qualification/certification of the Communications System (HW and SW).
• Ensure delivery of the complete Communications System within the program, focusing on engineering, schedule, cost, quality and risk.
• Coordinate multifunctional teams and liaise with Chief Engineering Office, Program Office and Customer.
• Manage development lifecycle from offer phase to flight clearance.
