Swiss Re is seeking an Associate Security Architect to help embed security-by-design across the organisation, supporting architecture reviews, security requirements, standards and governance. You will learn from senior architects while guiding delivery teams in applying security expectations in practice, in a hybrid work setup balancing home and office.

With around 2–3 years of relevant experience in areas such as identity and access management, secure design, or cloud security, you will

• A genuine passion for cybersecurity and an interest in how security architecture enables resilient business and technology change
• Around 2–3 years of experience in areas such as identity and access management, secure design, network security, application security, cloud security, data protection, vulnerability management, or risk-based decision-making
• Familiarity with industry security frameworks, standards, or control practices, ideally in regulated environments
• Clear communication skills and the ability to translate guidance into practical recommendations

Responsabilidades

• Support senior security architects and enterprise security architects in architecture reviews, security advisory activities, and governance assessments
• Help review security requirements, solution designs, architecture blueprints, and implementation approaches across applications, platforms, cloud services, and integration patterns
• Contribute to the definition, documentation, and maintenance of security standards, requirements, reusable patterns, and architecture decision records
• Collaborate with other security and technology teams to clarify security expectations and support practical adoption of security-by-design principles
• Track, analyse, and document security architecture observations to support maturity assessments, roadmap discussions, and continuous improvement
• Keep learning about cybersecurity technologies, architecture practices, and emerging risks, and share insights with the team
