Omya Business Services SLU in Barcelona is seeking an Accounts Payable specialist to validate and post invoices, ensure adherence to company guidelines, and support month-end closing with accuracy and timeliness.

The role requires 1 year of accounting experience, a finance/administration degree if available, and fluent English (B2). SAP experience is a plus. The company offers a hybrid work model, meal vouchers, language lessons, and a modern open office.

Formación

• University degree in finance and/or administration (ideal, not a must)
• At least 1 year experience in accounting
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP) is a plus
• Basic understanding of financial concepts
• Fluent in English (B2) good command of both oral & written
• Native speaker level of Polish, French, Portuguese, Italian, German, or Czech is a plus

Responsabilidades

• Validate and post invoices following company guidelines and processes, fulfilling country legal requirements and controls for the countries assigned.
• Resolve internal and external queries (payment status, general information, vendor reconciliation)
• Perform the assigned tasks and work with other streams for month-end closing.
• Provide support and build a professional relationship with internal and external stakeholders.
• Resolve issues detected in quality controls (e.g. VAT code, currency, legal entity…)
