Airbus Defence and Space in Getafe is seeking a System Safety Engineer to ensure aircraft products comply with safety standards across development and certification. You will work with design offices, safety authorities, services, and suppliers to integrate safety across systems.

This role requires performing safety assessments, defining safety requirements, and generating evidence for airworthiness. Strong English and teamwork are essential; experience with safety tools such as Isograph

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering or similar.
• Experience with System Safety Assessment and interface to Safety/Airworthiness/Certification.
• Good level of English and teamwork skills.

Responsabilités

• Perform System Safety Assessment activities for aircraft systems from development to certification.
• Examine system functions to identify and classify failure conditions by severity.
• Establish System Safety requirements and evaluate architecture against safety objectives.
• Generate evidences to demonstrate to Airworthiness Authorities that safety requirements are met.
• Conduct analyses of Common-Cause and related safety aspects.
• Perform risk analyses to support continuous airworthiness.
• Manage safety requirements at interfaces to interacting systems.
• Coordinate with diverse technical domains and suppliers on safety input/output.
• Review and apply supplier safety data.
