Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Madrid is seeking a System Safety Engineer to ensure aircraft safety standards across development and certification processes. You will lead System Safety Assessments, analyze functions, and build evidence for airworthiness authorities in a multidisciplinary environment.

The role requires a master’s degree in engineering, experience with safety assessment, and proficiency with Isograph FaultTree+ and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering or similar.
• Experience with System Safety Assessment and interface to Airworthiness/Certification is a plus.
• Strong MS Office skills and willingness to work with safety tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform System Safety Assessment activities for aircraft systems up to certification.
• Examine system functions to identify and classify failure conditions by severity.
• Generate safety requirements and supporting evidence for Airworthiness Authorities.
