Job summary

Allianz Technology in Barcelona is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to drive AI solutions from discovery to production, partnering with Allianz OEs and ecosystem teams. The role focuses on production-ready AI, building on MVS/AI Building Blocks or crafting custom components for rapid deployment.

You will work within a hybrid model, leveraging cloud-native stacks, DevOps practices, and secure coding to deliver scalable AI across backend, frontend, data, and ops. Fluency in English required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on software engineer with production code across backend, frontend, data, and ops.
• Comfortable operating in unfamiliar codebases and partner environments.
• Experience with cloud-native stacks, DevOps, CI/CD, containers, and security in regulated settings.
• Proficient with Python, APIs, and integration of LLM/agent frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with domain experts to translate problems into production AI solutions.
• Reuse and extend MVS/AI Building Blocks to design custom services and integrations.
• Ship solutions across stacks from development to production and ensure reliability.
• Document, operationalize, and scale by contributing patterns back to the central catalogue.
