Westinghouse Electric Company is recruiting a Human Factors Engineer II for a full-time, hybrid role at the Hospitalet de L'Infant Nuclear Power Plant in Spain. You will join a team dedicated to enhancing organizational performance within the nuclear sector, reporting to the Competency Management Manager.

The position requires field activity participation, strong analytical skills, and collaboration with diverse teams to implement improvements and optimize operations.

Qualifications

• Technical university degree in engineering or related field.
• Interest and background in Human Factors.
• High level of spoken and written English.
• Willingness to work on-site and participate in field activities.
• 1+ year of experience or knowledge of nuclear sector and technologies.
• Training in Occupational Risk Prevention.
• Demonstrated analytical and logical thinking capabilities.
• Commitment to learning and development.

Responsibilities

• Support event analysis programs, identifying causes and improvement opportunities.
• Analyze performance indicators to lead operations.
• Implement improvements based on operational experience, both internal and external.
• Enhance human-system interaction through applied human factors engineering.
• Participate in field activities and collaborate with diverse teams.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement processes of a major industrial client, integrating technical knowledge with performance improvement methodologies.

About The Role

As a Human Factors Engineer II you will to join a team dedicated to enhancing organizational performance in the nuclear sector. Your role will involve close collaboration with our client. This is a full-time job.

You will report to the Competency Management Manager and be located at the Nuclear Power Plant in Hospitalet de L'Infant. This is a hybrid position.
