Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Programmer (SAS & R) with German language skills to support health technology assessment (AMNOG) and market access activities in Germany, while working from Spain on a hybrid/remote basis. The role targets biostatisticians or data scientists with a strong background in statistical programming and clinical data analysis.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in biostatistics, data science, or related field.
• Experience in HTA, AMNOG, HEOR, or Market Access (industry, consultancy, or research institute) and/or in clinical development.
• Solid understanding of clinical study designs, endpoints, and statistical principles.
• Familiarity with clinical study data and CDISC SDTM/ADaM standards.
• Familiarity with the German AMNOG process, IQWiG methodology, or G‑BA procedures is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of German AMNOG dossiers with programming of statistical analyses for Module 4.
• Analyze clinical trial data for efficacy, safety, endpoints, and subgroups.
• Perform meta-analyses and indirect treatment comparisons; support interpretation of outputs.
• Automate and standardize analysis workflows for efficiency and reproducibility.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Market Access, HEOR, Medical Affairs, EU-HTA Team).
• Ensure scientific quality, clarity, and consistency of outcomes.
• Monitor developments from IQWiG, G BA, and HTA bodies.
