Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Programmer (SAS & R) with German for health technology assessment and market access work in Germany. The role focuses on statistical programming for AMNOG modules and data analysis, with collaboration across Market Access, HEOR, and Medical Affairs teams.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in biostatistics or data science, experience with clinical data standards (CDISC SDTM/ADaM), and fluency in German and English. Remote/hybrid options are available.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in biostatistics, data science, or a related field
• Initial experience in HTA, AMNOG, HEOR, or Market Access (industry, consultancy, or research institute) and/or in clinical development
• Solid understanding of clinical study designs, endpoints, and statistical principles
• Familiarity with clinical study data and industry standards (CDISC SDTM/ADaM)
• Familiarity with the German AMNOG process, IQWiG methodology, or G‑BA procedures is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of German AMNOG dossiers, with a focus on programming of statistical analyses for Module 4
• Perform analyses of clinical trial data, including efficacy, safety, endpoints, and subgroup analyses
• Perform meta-analyses and indirect treatment comparisons
• Automate and standardize analysis workflows for efficiency and reproducibility
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Market Access, HEOR, Medical Affairs, EU-HTA Team)
• Ensure scientific quality, clarity, and consistency of outputs
• Monitor methodological developments from IQWiG, G BA, and HTA bodies
