Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Programmer (SAS & R) with German focus to support HTA, AMNOG, and market access activities in a flexible Spain-based setup. The role emphasizes statistical programming and data science applied to clinical evidence for reimbursement decisions.

The ideal candidate has advanced degrees in biostatistics or data science, plus HTA/HEOR or clinical development exposure, and strong SAS, R, and CDISC SDTM/ADaM skills, with fluent German and English.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in biostatistics or data science.
• Experience in HTA/AMNOG/HEOR/Market Access (industry, consultancy, or research institute).
• Solid understanding of clinical study designs, endpoints, and statistics.
• Familiarity with clinical study data and industry standards (CDISC SDTM/ADaM).
• Knowledge of German AMNOG process, IQWiG, or G‑BA is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop German AMNOG dossiers with statistical analysis programming for Module 4.
• Analyze clinical trial data for efficacy, safety and endpoints; conduct subgroup analyses.
• Perform meta-analyses and indirect comparisons; support interpretation of results.
• Automate and standardize analysis workflows for efficiency and reproducibility.
• Collaborate with Market Access, HEOR, Medical Affairs, and EU-HTA teams.
• Ensure quality and consistency of generated outcomes; monitor methodological developments.
• Stay updated on IQWiG, G‑BA procedures and related HTA guidelines.
