Job summary

IQVIA seeks a Programmer (SAS & R) with German to support health technology assessment and market access activities in Germany. This Spain-based role emphasizes programming analyses for Module 4 and long-term data interpretation for reimbursement decisions.

The candidate should have a strong biostatistics or data science background, 2+ years in SAS, R, and CDISC SDTM/ADaM, and fluency in German and English. Hybrid work from Madrid is offered, with cross-border collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in biostatistics, data science, or a related field.
• Initial experience in HTA, AMNOG, HEOR, or Market Access (industry, consultancy, or research institute preferred) and/or in clinical development.
• Solid understanding of clinical study designs, endpoints, and statistical principles.
• Familiarity with clinical study data and the corresponding industry standards (CDISC SDTM/ADaM).
• Familiarity with the German AMNOG process, IQWiG methodology, or G‑BA procedures is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop German AMNOG dossiers with emphasis on SAS analyses for Module 4.
• Analyze clinical trial data for efficacy, safety, endpoints, and subgroups.
• Perform meta-analyses and indirect treatment comparisons.
• Automate and standardize analysis workflows for efficiency and reproducibility.
• Collaborate with Market Access, HEOR, Medical Affairs, and EU-HTA teams.
• Ensure scientific quality and clarity of outputs.
• Monitor IQWiG, G-BA, and HTA methodologies.
