Hempel A/S in Spain (Catalonia) is seeking an Occupational Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) specialist to support the Occupational Risk Prevention Service as a technician specialist in safety, hygiene, psychosocial and ergonomics. The role involves maintaining and implementing HSE processes, identifying unsafe conditions, leading safety inspections, and preparing documentation and reports.

Formación

• University degree or equivalent experience in Chemistry / Environmental or technical areas or University degree in HSE management.
• HSE training education as required by local legislation. (Technical Outstanding Health and Safety at Work with at least 2 specialties.)
• Experience working in a SPP or SPA. Work in the shop floor in the chemical industry or similar is a desirable.
• Proficiency in Word/XLS/PPT is preferred; familiarity with HSE software (f.e.ENHESA or Assure) is beneficial.
• Knowledge of ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, and ISO50001 would be valuable.
• Ability to communicate in a clear and consistent way in Spanish, Catalan and English both written and verbally.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and implement HSE processes ensuring compliance with legislation and Hempel standards.
• Identify unsafe conditions and promote safety awareness and behaviors.
• Conduct training of employees according to a training plan.
• Lead safety inspections and assist audits.
• Investigate, analyze and document accidents and observations to drive preventive actions.
• Ensure preventive documentation is maintained and generate HSE activity reports.
