Position Overview

Responsibilities
  • As Site HSE Manager: promote coordination with CLIENT to ensure HSES KPI criteria (Project Smart Objectives) and expectations are met, monitor HSES targets for the project through HSES KPI’s.
  • Along with Training Coordinator follow the proper implementation of HSES training matrix and Campaigns programmes for the project.
  • Review and arrange for the provision of project HSES personal protection equipment.
  • Forecast, schedule and supervise work of the HSES team in the project.
  • Provide for and supervise project/site HSES reporting and the acquisition, maintenance and dissemination of HSES data and statistics.
  • Check that first aid and evacuation of injured persons are properly carried out.
  • Report immediately to the Site Manager, to the HO Construction Department and to the HO HSE Manager in issuing the incident report.
  • Review all project/site accidents, issuing Safety Alerts and Lessons Learned.
  • Help review and write Project Procedures, Job Safety analysis and Method Statements.
  • Lead HSE Meeting with Construction Contractors and all parties.
  • Actively demonstrate HSE ownership, leadership and awareness to subcontractor organisations, supporting incentive and discipline initiatives.
  • Participate in HSE Committee Meeting and Steering Committee Meetings, issuing the proper presentations and data evaluation.
  • Organise safety awareness campaigns and promote communication on all HSE matters (awards, incentives, meeting/inspections/audits reports).
  • Promote the application of Incentives in the project and disciplinary measures when necessary.
  • As Project HSE Manager: promote coordination with CLIENT to set the HSES KPI criteria (Project Smart Objectives) and expectations, and coordinate with multi‑centres and multi‑entities for project HSE execution.
  • Pre‑qualify and evaluate subcontractors prior to the bidding phase and identify HSE documents to be issued.
  • Prepare mobilisation plans and cost requirements during the proposal phase to inform project management.
  • Develop Health and Safety Project Plans/Site Plans, or Project Procedures according to Project/Client requirements.
  • Gather information in coordination with the legal department to know the legal and government requirements of the country of the project.
  • Assist the Project manager with the overall implementation of the HSE management System of the Project.
  • Follow up compliance with HSES targets and SMART Objectives for the project through reported HSES KPI’s.
  • Implement Technip Energies HSE programmes and safety management system at sites, visiting project sites and monitoring conditions regularly.
  • Propose corrective actions to close observed deviations to HSE best practices.
  • Ensure that site HSE managers report leading and lagging indicators timely, issue monthly HSE reports to corporate and review and analyse incidents with the Site HSE Manager.
  • Conduct internal audits to projects to comply with the audit plan and follow up the implementation of actions to close non‑compliances and observations.
Qualifications
  • NEBOSH or locally recognised HSES certification and ISO 45001/14001.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Immediate incorporation in a solid industrial engineering environment is offered.
