Job summary

Radisson Hotel Group is seeking an HRIS trainee for a 6-month internship to support HR processes and data management across the People & Technology teams. This role offers exposure to HR systems, APIs, XML, and integration projects, with opportunities to develop technical skills in a global hospitality environment.

The ideal candidate is curious about technology, fluent in English, and currently enrolled in a school program in Spain.

Qualifications

Being enrolled in a school program to be eligible for the internship.
Being fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Have a good command of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, including data analysis, formulas, data manipulation, and reporting.
Basic knowledge of programming concepts, APIs, data structures, or data transformation, with an interest in developing technical skills.
Knowledge of XML is a plus; exposure to XSLT and SOAP Web Services is desirable.
Experience with or basic knowledge of tools such as Jira, Postman, SOAP UI, or similar tools is a plus.
An interest in HR systems, digital transformation, and the use of technology to improve HR processes.
Nothing else than being your truly self and supermotivated to start an existing journey for at least six months.
Being eligible to work in Spain, that can be any EU citizen or a non-EU citizen enrolled in a school program in Spain.

Responsibilities

Support the People Technology global team.
Assist in the development and support of the People Technology strategy for the organization.
Foster trust and build relationships with key stakeholders. Engage with leadership to support innovative ideas and business priorities.
Support the HR Process & Technology teams; take on assigned tasks, seek guidance on complex issues, and contribute to team efforts.
Collaborate on projects involving the People & technology team, developing project management skills by gathering requirements and tracking fulfilment.
Understand business needs and assist the team in finding solutions that enhance the employee experience and meet business objectives.
Work with the team to identify areas for improvement and ensure effective use and management of data.
Collaborate with IT and external partners to support rollout of functionalities and ensure systems align with business needs.
Learn about the HR Operating model to support future Systems enhancements and People Operations teams.
Provide support to the Integrations team by helping review XML files, understand XSLT transformations, and analyse SOAP Web Services requests and responses.
Contribute to managing a feature list and product roadmap.
Help maintain integration specifications, field mappings, troubleshooting guides, and records of incidents and resolutions.
Gain exposure to APIs, data structures, XML, and XSLT to support data exchange, transformation, and integration between HR systems and other applications.
