Strada is seeking a payroll specialist in Spain to support and manage payroll tasks for diverse clients. You will handle tickets and payroll systems, review data, and generate standard and client-specific reports.

Requirements include 1–2 years in payroll or HR benefits, advanced German and English (minimum B2), and strong MS Office skills. A detail-oriented, self-motivated team player with HRIS knowledge is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and manage payroll tasks using the appropriate ticket and payroll systems, applying the defined standards and client‑specific requirements.
• Monitor and manage ticket queues using the appropriate tools to ensure tickets are handled per the defined timelines and do not exceed expected thresholds.
• Utilize the hrX suite of tools as it relates to payroll processing and associated activities.
• Understand and interpret a payslip.
• Understand and follow the payroll calendar.
• Identify deviations from the standard scope of service and act accordingly, including the identification and support of change request opportunities.
• Recognize and deal appropriately with sensitive and confidential information.
• Produce and understand basic standard and client‑specific payroll reports.
• Review and validate data for accuracy.
• Answer basic payroll questions and requests through communication channels agreed for the client (phone, e‑mail, ticket).
• Participate in projects and activities as needed and assigned.

Required Experience

• Knowledge of MS Office tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Advanced German & English skills (minimum B2).
• 1‑2 years of relevant experience administering payroll or health & welfare/benefits in an HR consulting, HR outsourcing or other corporate environment.
• Flexibility to support a global and fast‑paced environment.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal skills.
• Self‑motivated and a willingness to learn.
• HRIS knowledge.
