Hexagon Infrastructure & Geospatial seeks an HR (IT) Application Engineer to manage and optimize HRIS systems, focusing on configuration, data integrity, troubleshooting, and user support in a hybrid Barcelona setting.

You will collaborate with HR stakeholders, perform audits, support upgrades and integrations (SAP SuccessFactors and SAP HCM), and contribute to privacy and security controls while driving process improvements.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business economics and/or information technology or comparable qualifications.
• Proven experience configuring and managing HR systems landscapes.
• Programming skills or solid knowledge of programming fundamentals (e.g., VBA, Python).
• Familiarity with SAP SuccessFactors (SF) and SAP HCM; ABAP/UI5 is a strong advantage.
• Knowledge of HR processes, data management, and data protection regulations.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to troubleshoot system issues while maintaining data integrity.
• Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, test, implement and manage our global HR systems landscape, including technical system configuration, data integrity, troubleshooting, and user support.
• Serve as a point of contact for HRIS-related inquiries and provide timely resolution or elevate issues as necessary.
• Conduct regular audits and data checks to identify and resolve data inconsistencies or errors within the HRIS.
• Document technical solutions and procedures.
• Identify and implement improvements to enhance system efficiency, process consistency, and user satisfaction.
• Collaborate with HR stakeholders and other departments to understand their requirements, develop solutions and areas for improvement, and streamline HR processes, including data integration with other systems.
• Participate in system upgrades, implementations, and integrations through testing, documentation, and training, while collaborating with stakeholders and vendors to ensure smooth HR system integration and address technical issues.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to HR technology and recommend process enhancements or new tools that align with the organization's needs.
• Ensure data privacy and security by implementing and maintaining appropriate controls and protocols.

THIS IS YOU

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business economics and/or information technology, or comparable qualifications.
• Proven experience in configuring and managing HR systems landscapes.
• Programming skills or at least solid knowledge of programming fundamentals (e.g., VBA, Python).
• Familiarity with SAP SuccessFactors (SF) and SAP HCM; knowledge of software development tools such as ABAP/UI5 is a strong advantage.
• Ideally knowledge of HR processes, data management principles, and data protection regulations.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and skilled in troubleshooting system issues while maintaining data integrity.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
• Continuous learning mindset and ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
