Soho House Barcelona is seeking an Accountant to oversee financial planning, reporting, and daily accounting operations for the Barcelona property. You will maintain financial records, monitor budgets, manage accounts payable/receivable, and ensure internal controls and procedures are followed.

The role requires experience in accounting/finance, strong knowledge of AR, VAT accounting, invoicing, and balance sheet reconciliations, plus fluent Spanish and good English.

Formación

• Experience in accounting/finance, ideally in hospitality, retail, or fast-paced environments.
• Strong understanding of AR, cash management, reconciliations and VAT accounting.
• Experience with invoicing, payment reconciliation, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Working knowledge of Spanish VAT regulations and SII reporting requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy; able to meet deadlines.
• Organised, time-management oriented, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
• Proficient in Excel and ERP systems.

Responsabilidades

• Issuing and processing customer invoices.
• Reconciling incoming payments and allocating cash.
• Reconciling AR balance sheet accounts.
• Managing and reconciling cash balances.
• Reconciling VAT ledger and investigating discrepancies.
• Preparing and submitting VAT reporting information for SII.
• Support general administrative and accounting tasks as required.
