ProMedica Laboratories - Toledo North is seeking a Histology Technologist II to perform routine and complex histologic techniques on tissue samples for microscopic examination and to support the Pathologist in providing accurate diagnoses.

You will perform special procedures that require a complex network of steps and variables as well as all routine and repetitive tests in a high-volume anatomic pathology lab.

Formación

• Associates Degree in Science or Applied Science (or equivalent) and/or Bachelor’s Degree - completion of an accredited training program in Histotechnology.
• May consider two years histology work experience with a High School Diploma, and eligibility to sit for the ASCP certification test (HT or HLT).

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine and complex histologic techniques on tissue samples for microscopic examination.
• Support the Pathologist in providing accurate diagnoses.
• Create and monitor quality assurance programs in the lab and instruct new associates or students as required.
