Job summary

Cognizant Spain is seeking a Pega Senior Architect / Tech Lead for remote work from Spain. You will lead end-to-end BPM/Java/Cloud programs, coordinating with senior stakeholders and global teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions.

You will mentor engineers, drive architecture governance, and ensure SDLC adherence while leveraging AI/GenAI capabilities within BPM processes. Excellent English is mandatory; Spanish is a plus. This is a remote-from-Spain role with international collaboration.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT delivery experience with BPM/Java/Cloud ecosystems.
• Proven experience delivering end-to-end large-scale programs or multiple projects.
• Strong technical background in Java/J2EE, REST APIs, cloud, and microservices.
• Experience with Agile delivery models (Scrum/Kanban) and SDLC lifecycle.
• Ability to engage with senior technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of BPM/Pega projects, ensuring quality, timelines, and client satisfaction.
• Act as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders, including business and IT leadership.
• Drive solution design in collaboration with Enterprise and Solution Architects.
• Mentor multidisciplinary teams across geographies.
• Oversee delivery across Java/J2EE, REST APIs, Cloud (Kubernetes), and BPM platforms (Pega preferred).
• Ensure Agile practices are followed and continuously improved.
• Govern project lifecycle (SDLC), including planning, execution, risk management, and delivery tracking.
