Cognizant Spain is seeking a Pega Senior Architect to lead end-to-end BPM/Pega programs from Madrid, with remote work from Spain. You will align business goals with technology delivery while mentoring engineers and engaging senior stakeholders. The role requires 10+ years IT delivery experience, strong Java/J2EE, REST, cloud (Kubernetes), and Agile delivery.

English is mandatory; Spanish is a plus. You will drive solution design, govern SDLC, and support pre-sales while advancing AI/GenAI

Qualifications

10+ years in IT delivery with BPM/Java/Cloud exposure.
Proven end-to-end delivery of large programs or multiple projects.
Strong technical background: Java/J2EE, REST APIs, Microservices.
Experience in Agile delivery models (Scrum/Kanban) and full SDLC.
Ability to engage with senior stakeholders (technical and non-technical).
Experience leading global, distributed teams.
Excellent English (mandatory); Spanish is a plus.

What will be your mission?

As a Pega Senior Architect you will lead end-to-end delivery of BPM/Java/Cloud programs while ensuring alignment between business objectives, technology solutions, and execution excellence.

What will make you successful in this position?

Mandatory:

10+ years of experience in IT delivery, with strong exposure to BPM / Java / Cloud ecosystems
Proven experience managing end-to-end delivery of large-scale programs or multiple projects
Strong technical background in:
- Java / J2EE
- REST APIs & Microservices
- Cloud technologies (Kubernetes, containers, distributed systems)
Experience in Agile delivery models (Scrum/Kanban) and full SDLC lifecycle

Desirable:
