The Centre for Genomic Regulation in Barcelona is seeking a Health and Safety Intern to promote a safe and healthy work environment.
You will engage in various health promotion activities, supporting initiatives and assessing occupational risks. Ideal candidates are pursuing a Master's degree in relevant fields, have fluency in English, and exhibit strong organizational skills.

The Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG) is an international biomedical research institute of excellence, based in Barcelona, Spain, with more than 400 scientists from 44 countries. The CRG is composed by an interdisciplinary, motivated and creative scientific team which is supported both by a flexible and efficient administration and by high-end and innovative technologies.
As a Health and Safety Intern, you will join the team responsible for promoting a safe and healthy work environment across the center, with a particular focus on supporting the dissemination and communication of health promotion initiatives.
You will gain hands-on experience in key areas such as occupational safety, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, and applied psychosociology.

About the department
The mission of the Health and Safety Department is to ensure that safety is an essential component of all activities at the CRG. To do it, CRG develops regulations to avoid, reduce and control foreseeable risks to health and safety to the highest possible degree.
The CRG has adopted the organizational model of an in-house occupational risk prevention service.
