What are we looking for?

We are incorporating a new INSUDER as Health and Safety Technician at our plant in León.

The challenge!

• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSAS 18001 or equivalent).
• Support the monitoring of preventive activities carried out by the External Prevention Service (SPA) and the implementation of the Prevention Plan across different Plant areas.
• Participate in occupational risk assessments under supervision, especially in production processes and identified risk situations in the Plant.
• Supervise the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and collective protection in work areas.
• Assist in the management and distribution of personal protective equipment.
• Support the coordination of preventive and corrective maintenance related to safety and emergencies.
• Participate in accident investigations by gathering information and assisting in the follow-up of corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate in the preparation and updating of safety-related documents, such as safety data sheets and self-protection plans.
• Assist in safety training and information for workers.
• Collaborate with the Health Surveillance Service and other related areas.
• Know and comply with environmental policies and applicable procedures.
• Know and observe the premises established in current environmental policy. Know and act as set out in the environmental procedures which apply.

What do you need?

• Education : University Degree and specific qualification on Prevention of Occupational Risks.
• Languages : Spanish, intermediate English is desirable.
• Experience (years / area) : +1 year of experience in security management positions, preferably in an industrial environment.
• Specific Knowledge : Occupational risk prevention (specialties of safety, hygiene and ergonomics and psychology).
