A global accommodation supplier is seeking a Health and Safety Coordinator to manage audits and enhance safety standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in health and safety within the travel industry, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. This full-time role requires proactive problem-solving and the ability to work independently while supporting a dynamic team.

Formación

Responsabilidades

  • Identify, monitor and improve health and safety issues across accommodation suppliers.
  • Manage health & safety audits in line with company policy.
  • Work closely with health and safety service providers.

Health and Safety work experience / knowledge
Experience working in the travel industry
Fluency in English both written & spoken
Computer literate in Microsoft Office

In this role you will

Supporting the WebBeds Health and Safety programme, the role holder will be required to identify, monitor and improve health and safety issues across the WebBeds accommodation suppliers.

To be responsible for all aspects of managing the health & safety audits in line with the company policy.

To work closely with the health and safety services providers and support the Health & Safety Manager in issue resolution.

Key elements to this role include but not limited to
  • Undertaking hotel risk assessment against recognised industry standards and WebBeds safety requirements
  • Liaising with hotel partners by email and phone to resolve promptly any non‑conformity
  • Daily management of the mailbox
  • Where necessary, liaising with the Contracting / Purchasing department regarding audits and non‑conformities as per company policy and procedure
  • Ensuring that all information is stored and recorded as per relevant procedures
  • Any other task that management may reasonably request
Key Measures
  • Three‑month probationary period with objectives
  • Number of audits sent out / follow‑up as requested by management within the given timeframe
  • Number of properties made suitable for sales every month
  • Annual End‑of‑Year Review
Skills we would love to see in your suitcase
  • Health and Safety work experience / knowledge
  • Experience working in the travel industry (travel operators / hotels)
  • Fluency in English both written & spoken
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Outlook and email ticketing systems
  • Experience in managing and consolidating incoming administrative tasks from multiple sources
  • Able to work independently as well as be a team player while seeking to improve team performance
  • Proactive attitude with the ability to seek solutions to issues encountered
  • Ability to use multiple systems
  • Ability to organise, prioritise and manage tasks and meet deadlines
  • Adaptable to changes in day‑to‑day tasks and procedures
  • Strong communication skills
  • Fluency in other languages (nice to have)
  • Continuous willingness for learning and skills development
