A financial consulting firm in Madrid is seeking a professional to prepare financial models and analyze financing strategies for various projects. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in structured finance or banking, and strong negotiation skills in English. Experience in infrastructure sectors like water and sanitation is highly valued. The role offers the opportunity to work with key funding sources and manage risk effectively.

Descripción del empleo

• Design and analysis of financing strategies (PPP, concessions), considering private banks, multilateral banks, bond issuance, among others.
• Market sounding in financial markets to identify efficient funding sources.
• Management of risks associated with financial structures.
• Negotiation of financing contracts.
• Preparation of scopes for financial/tax advisory services, analysis and selection of proposals.
• Search and negotiation with external advisors and knowledge of key players in the consultancy market.
• Identification of national and international insurers, reinsurers, and brokers.
• Analysis of tender documents and documentation for project bidding.
• Preparation of financial models for new bids and opportunities under concession models and/or structured financing.
• Review and comments on financial models prepared by partners and external advisors.
• Coordination with the bidding team for requests to brokers and insurers.
• Review of documentation and information required for surety bonds.
• Coordination of the issuance of guarantees.
• Monitoring the progress of concession projects.
• Supervision of compliance with financing contracts.

Requirements

• Degree in Business Administration or Economics, with specialization in financial modeling.
• At least 5 years of experience in structured finance, banking, or advisory (Big Four or similar).
• Experience in the infrastructure sector is highly valued, preferably in potable water, wastewater, desalination, or distribution and sanitation networks projects.
• English at negotiation level. French is an asset.
