This role requires more than 10 years of experience in the operation and maintenance of water networks and strong knowledge of electromechanical equipment.

Descripción del empleo

• Define and standardize corporate operation and maintenance strategies for water distribution networks, drinking water treatment plants (DWTPs), and wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs).
• Provide technical oversight of operational contracts by analyzing performance indicators, risks, and inefficiencies.
• Review and approve O&M budgets, investments, renewals, and replacements of critical equipment.
• Lead the development and continuous improvement of preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance plans.
• Drive technical asset management and the implementation of corporate best practices.
• Provide technical support to local teams in resolving incidents and making complex operational decisions.
• Participate in bids, tenders, concessions, and EPC projects with operational components.
• Assess the operability, maintainability, and efficiency of new infrastructure and projects.
• Support commissioning processes and the transition from construction to operation.
• Identify opportunities for the development of new O&M-related services.
• Promote the adoption of new technologies, digital tools, and innovative solutions.
• Develop and manage strategic partnerships with suppliers and technology partners.

Requirements

• University degree in Sanitary Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• More than 10 years of experience in the operation and maintenance of water networks and treatment plants (DWTPs and/or WWTPs).
• Proven experience in asset management, industrial maintenance, and operational optimization.
• Experience in operational cost analysis, budgeting, and investment planning.
• Strong knowledge of electromechanical equipment and drinking water and wastewater treatment processes.
• Experience with service contracts, concessions, and/or EPC projects.
• Ability to define corporate standards, procedures, and management models.
• Experience in the technical supervision of multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong techno-economic mindset focused on results and decision-making.
• International experience, particularly in Latin America, is highly desirable.
• Availability to travel.
