Lodgify is seeking a Head of GEO / AI Search Optimization to define, build, and lead our generative engine optimization function. You will own the GEO channel end-to-end, align with Marketing leadership, and drive resource decisions to boost organic visibility across markets.

You will shape product and data strategies, partner with Product and Engineering, and connect GEO initiatives to revenue. This role prioritizes Barcelona-based leadership with remote-friendly flexibility.

Formación

• 8+ years of experience in SEO or AI search optimization, with at least 3 years in a leadership or channel-ownership role.
• Proven track record delivering measurable GEO, programmatic SEO, or AI-enabled content workflows.
• Proven ability to own a search or organic channel strategy with defined direction and results.
• Deep expertise in how LLMs retrieve, chunk, and cite content for AI-powered search.
• Experience influencing cross-functional roadmaps with Product, Engineering, and Sales at decision-making levels.
• Ability to drive engineering and product prioritization without direct authority.
• Strong analytical mindset; able to define KPIs and communicate performance in business terms.
• Executive communication skills to translate GEO/AI strategy for leadership and the broader org.

Responsabilidades

• Define and lead Lodgify's GEO strategy as a core acquisition and brand channel.
• Set channel OKRs, framework, and present performance to marketing leadership and the executive team.
• Own GEO roadmap and budget; allocate resources for generative search visibility.
• Shape product roadmap for GEO discoverability — site architecture, structured data, content formats.
• Connect GEO to revenue; align with Sales and Revenue teams on pipeline and intent mapping.
• Build AI-enabled automation workflows for content production, GEO optimization, and data deployment.
• Collaborate with Content, Brand, Growth, and Performance to embed GEO thinking across campaigns.
• Defend classical SEO foundations — technical health, crawlability, on-page optimization, links.
• Serve as Lodgify's internal authority on AI search; educate, framework, and translate market dynamics.
• Develop dashboards and workflows to track performance, mentions, and visibility.
