Nestlé S.A. seeks a Head of Enterprise Engineering Excellence to shape and lead the engineering foundations powering Nespresso’s global digital ecosystem. Reporting to the Global Head of IT, you will steer a large, high-performing organization spanning infrastructure, platform engineering, and enablement.

You will accelerate digital transformation and define engineering strategy to enable teams to build, deploy, and scale products securely and with impact at enterprise scale.

Formación

• 15+ years of senior engineering or technology leadership experience.
• Proven track record leading large, globally distributed teams (200+ engineers).
• Deep cloud, infrastructure, DevOps, and platform engineering expertise.
• Strong experience with cloud-native architectures, APIs, CI/CD, and automation.
• Strategic thinker who links technology decisions to business outcomes.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication.

We are looking for a Head of Enterprise Engineering Excellence to be part of our Nestlé Nespresso Digital and Tech Team. At Nespresso, our Digital & Tech teams are at the heart of our innovation journey—a space where we continuously invest, evolve, and create world-class capabilities.

The Role

As the Head of Enterprise Engineering Excellence, you will shape and lead the engineering foundations that power Nespresso’s global digital ecosystem. Reporting to the Global Head of IT, you will lead a large, high-performing organization spanning infrastructure, platform engineering, and engineering enablement.

You will be instrumental in accelerating Nespresso’s digital transformation—enabling teams to build, deploy, and scale products faster, more securely, and with greater impact. This is a highly visible leadership role where you will define engineering strategy, modernize ways of working, and influence outcomes at enterprise scale.

In This Role, You Will:

• Define and drive the enterprise-wide engineering excellence strategy, aligned with business and IT priorities
• Lead a global organization of 200+ engineers, building high-performing teams and leadership capability
• Accelerate modernization through DevSecOps, cloud, automation, SRE, platform engineering, and AI
• Own and evolve engineering platforms (cloud foundations, CI/CD, developer tooling) to enable speed and scalability
• Ensure secure, reliable, and high-performing infrastructure and operations with strong governance and compliance
• Drive operational excellence (incident, problem, and change management; resilience and disaster recovery)
• Partner with senior stakeholders to translate strategy into tangible business outcomes
• Manage budgets, vendors, and cost optimization while maximizing value delivery

What We’re Looking For:

• 15+ years of experience in senior engineering or technology leadership roles in complex enterprise environments
• Proven track record leading large, globally distributed engineering organizations (200+ scale)
• Deep expertise across cloud (Azure preferred), infrastructure, DevOps, platform engineering, and modern architectures
• Strong experience with cloud-native, microservices, APIs, CI/CD, and automation
• Strategic mindset with the ability to connect technology decisions to business impact
• Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skills
• Proven ability to drive transformation, culture change, and operational excellence
