Job summary

papernest seeks a Head of papernest Energía to own the energy customer portfolio, drive growth, and ensure regulatory compliance. You will act as autonomous owner within 6 months, shaping how commercial decisions impact the portfolio in a cross-functional, hands-on role.

You will collaborate with Sales, Operations and leadership to optimize retention, monitor KPIs, and navigate regulatory obligations while building a scalable energy business in Spain. Remote work available 2 days/week.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a fast-paced, cross-functional role (e.g., Operations, Strategy, Consulting or General Management).
• Demonstrated ability to drive growth and retention with data-driven decisions.
• Proactive, hands-on leader able to work autonomously over time.

Responsibilities

• Grow the energy portfolio by tracking performance and activating growth levers.
• Reduce churn by identifying retention levers and building measurable plans.
• Own regulatory scope: map obligations and ensure contract compliance.
• Collaborate across Sales, Operations and leadership on portfolio decisions.
• Manage a direct report and develop their skills.
• Present clear diagnoses to leadership within 2 months and run scope within 6 months.
