Tecnoambiente is seeking a Data Centre Manager to oversee data, deliverables, and reporting within the Tecnoambiente Marine survey division. You will manage deliverables, ensure projects stay on time and within budget, and uphold high standards across cross-functional teams.

The role requires strong data management planning, data processing oversight, and experience in marine surveys, GIS, and international project coordination.

Formación

• 5 years of experience in Marine survey.
• Very good written and spoken English.
• High communication and organizing skills.
• Knowledge of GIS.
• Knowledge of data/processing/reporting flows in marine survey industry.

Responsabilidades

• Advise the project Data coordinator, Data Centre Team and Project Manager on data flows to be used in the projects and highlight any flow that is not in line with TECNOAMBIENTE standards.
• Provide the data management plan prior to project start-up in liaison, DataCentre Team and Project Manager.
• Provide an overall processing plan for each job Project before field work start.
• Provide clear instructions to Project Team on processing, GIS/Charting, reporting and deliverables requirements and strategies.
• Setup and manage the project data flows.
• Coordinate the Project Processing team.
• Support the vessel when data/specifications topics are related or could affect the data quality or project specifications.
• Follow up the data being produced in the vessels on quality and completeness.
• Coordinate quality checks on offshore processed data when necessary.
• Report to the project Manager on the progress of the project (Time vs Quality).
• Monitor working methods and suggest improvements to ensure process efficiency and constant improvement.
• Delivery Management and Follow-up of project deadlines and data milestones.
• Ensure clean and structural storage of project data and proper Project close out.
• Apply and implement company QHSE procedures including incident reporting, registration & investigation if applicable.

Tecnoambiente is a professional services company specializing in environmental consulting in marine and terrestrial environments, as well as in hydrographic, geophysical, and offshore geotechnical research. We also provide services as an accredited Inspection Body and Testing Laboratory (17020 and 17025), with expert capabilities in environmental matrices. Our clients belong to the renewable energy, submarine cables and pipelines, and port and coasts sectors, among many others.

We are looking for a Data Centre Manager, you will be responsible for the data, deliverables and reporting within Tecnoambiente Marine survey division. You will oversee the deliverables management and ensure the project gets delivered on time, within budget and within the highest standards.

Keeping a clear overview and organizing your work towards deadlines is something you are good at. In this role you work together with colleagues from different departments.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in Marine survey
• Bsc in surveying, geology, oceanography, marine engineering, geophysics or a related subject.
• Very good written and spoken English
• High communication and organizing skills
• Knowledge of GIS
• Knowledge of data/processing/reporting flows and data project phases in the marine survey industry
• Overall experience in the marine survey industry
