A leading wealth management firm is seeking a Head of Corporate Services Iberia to oversee workplace operations across Madrid, Barcelona, and Lisbon. The role involves managing office environments, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and providing premium client service. Candidates must have at least 8 years of experience in facilities management and fluency in Spanish and English.

Formación

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in corporate facilities or real-estate operations.
  • Certified Técnico en Prevención de Riesgos Laborales is mandatory.
  • Proven ability to manage multi-site operations.

YOUR CHALLENGE
  • Lead end‑to‑end workplace operations across Madrid, Barcelona and Lisbon offices
  • Manage office space planning, occupancy strategies and team relocations
  • Oversee minor construction projects, renovations and office reconfigurations
  • Maintain corporate furniture inventory, including storage, repairs and replacements
  • Ensure accurate facility data in CAFM systems and up‑to‑date CAD drawings
  • Directly manage reception and concierge services, ensuring premium client experience
  • Uphold high standards in client‑facing areas, including meeting rooms and VIP zones
  • Act as officially accredited Preventive Resources Technician (Técnico en PRL) under Spanish law
  • Ensure full compliance with Spanish and Portuguese H&S regulations (Ley 31/1995, Lei 102/2009)
  • Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, emergency drills and incident investigations
  • Develop and enforce physical security standards, including access control and CCTV systems
  • Manage issuance, review and revocation of access credentials across all sites
  • Lead emergency preparedness and business continuity planning for real estate
  • Supervise external service providers (facilities, cleaning, security, maintenance)
  • Collaborate with HR, IT, Compliance and senior stakeholders on workplace initiatives
YOUR PROFILE
  • Completed higher education or equivalent qualification in Facilities Management, Engineering, Occupational Health Safety, Business Administration or a related field
  • Certified Técnico en Prevención de Riesgos Laborales (Level VI or VII) mandatory for Spanish operations, proof of active registration required
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in corporate facilities, workplace services or real‑estate operations, preferably within financial services or multinational environments
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and developing local teams, including direct supervision of facility coordinators, reception staff and service supervisors
  • Proven ability to manage multi‑site operations with accountability for performance, engagement and service delivery across Madrid, Barcelona and Lisbon
  • Experience in overseeing front‑office functions, including reception, concierge services and client hospitality standards
  • In‑depth knowledge of Spanish H&S legislation (Ley 31/1995, RD 39/1997) and familiarity with Portuguese safety regulations (Lei 102/2009)
  • Practical understanding of building management systems, security infrastructure and office maintenance operations
  • Fluency in Spanish and English, both written and spoken; working knowledge of Portuguese is a strong advantage
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to operate independently and drive results in a matrix organisation
