The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, over 5 years of HR experience, and be fluent in English. Senior People Operations Specialist – Spain

We are seeking a proactive and versatile HR Generalist to join our team in Spain. The position requires a good understanding of HR processes, employment law, and best practices, as well as the ability to work effectively in an international and multicultural environment.

The successful candidate will serve as a trusted partner to business leaders and employees, ensuring that HR policies, processes, and initiatives are implemented consistently and effectively in the Country.

Key Responsibilities:

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Manage day-to-day HR activities, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and company policies.
  • Oversee employee lifecycle processes: recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training, and offboarding.
  • Ensure consistent application of HR policies.

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Act as a point of contact for employees and managers, addressing HR-related queries and issues.
  • Support initiatives to promote employee engagement, diversity & inclusion, and organizational culture.
  • Mediate and resolve employee relations matters in a fair and consistent manner.

Talent Management & Development

  • Partner with managers to identify training and development needs.
  • Support succession planning and career development initiatives.
  • Facilitate performance review processes.

Recruitment & Employer Branding

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes in collaboration with hiring managers.
  • Build strong relationships with external recruitment partners where necessary.
  • Contribute to strengthening the company’s employer brand in the region.

HR Systems & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate HR data and records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with GDPR.
  • Prepare regular HR reports and analytics for management review.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Labor Relations, Business Administration, or Law. A postgraduate qualification or Master’s degree in Human Resources Management and/or Administration will be considered a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience.
  • Good knowledge of Spanish labor law.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision‑making abilities.
  • Fluency in English (mandatory); additional European languages are an advantage.
  • Experience with Workday HRIS or other HR systems is preferred.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
