Valeo Martos is seeking a Hardware Engineer to design cutting-edge electronics for automotive illumination systems. You will define, develop and validate hardware per customer specs, while ensuring integration with software, mechanics, quality and industrialisation constraints.

The role requires hands-on hardware design experience, knowledge of simulation tools (Simetrix, Pspice, Cadence) and strong EMC practices, with English communication skills. Excellent integration and teamwork are expected.

Formación

• Electronics Engineering degree (Bachelor/Master) or equivalent experience.
• Experience in hardware design.
• Knowledge of simulation and CAD tools such as Simetrix, Pspice and Cadence.
• EMC good practices and lab measurement know-how.
• Proficient in using oscilloscopes, power supplies and related lab gear.
• Fluent in English; good negotiation/communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design electronic circuits per customer specifications for automotive illumination systems using up-to-date techniques.
• Define, develop and validate HW design per Valeo design rules.
• Integrate HW with SW, mechanical, quality and industrialisation constraints into the product HW design.
• Collaborate with PCB layout engineers to ensure high-quality PCB layouts.
• Support EMC design activities and customer validation/review processes.
• Contribute to standards, methods and tools improvements.

As a Hardware Engineer in Valeo Martos, you will be designing cutting edge electronics for top car makers in the world, working in a fast paced, international and multicultural environment.

Your Mission

• To design electronic circuits according to customer specifications for illumination systems in the automotive industry, following the most up to date techniques in a constantly evolving environment.
• Your responsibilities:
• To define, develop and validate the HW design according to customer specification and Valeo design rules
• Responsible for the integration of the different domains constraints (HW, SW, mechanic, quality, industrialisation) into the product HW design
• Cooperate with PCB layout engineers and ensure the quality of PCB layout
• Support activities related to EMC design
• Support the customer validation and design review activities
• Participate in the improvement of the standards, methods & tools

Desired Skills And Experience

• Electronics Engineering Degree/Master, Telecommunications or equivalent experience
• Experience in HW design
• Knowledge of Simulation and CAD tools (Simetrix, Pspice, Cadence...)
• EMC good practices
• Use of laboratory equipment like oscilloscopes, power supplies…
• Passion for HW design
• Passion for the automotive industry
• Negotiation English level is mandatory
