OCB Pharmaceutical in Barcelona seeks an HSE Technician to lead site health, safety and environmental management. You will report to the Operations Director and work with site teams, contractors and providers to maintain compliance, identify risks and drive improvements in production, utilities and waste management.

This hands-on role requires a practical mindset, English at B2 level, and the ability to coordinate risk assessments, audits, drills and investigations while keeping accurate records

Formación

• Technical or higher education in OH&S, Environmental Science, Chemistry, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in chemical/pharma industrial environments preferred.
• Good IT skills to maintain monitoring data and records.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, monitor and maintain the Prevention Plan with external Health and Safety Service Provider.
• Manage occupational risk assessments and ensure preventive and corrective actions are implemented and their effectiveness verified.
• Provide regular HSE reporting to site management and escalate significant risks and tracking actions.
• Maintain Emergency Response and Self-Protection Plan and coordinate drills and actions.
• Coordinate waste and wastewater management, monitoring, records and permit compliance.
• Lead environmental management activities, including permits, inspections and follow-up.
• Act as main HSE contact for regulatory bodies and external providers.
• Carry out site inspections and follow-up actions to closure.
• Support investigations of HSE incidents and near misses, including root-cause analysis.
• Promote a practical health, safety and environmental culture across the organisation.
