Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Getafe, Madrid area, is seeking a Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Engineer to work on the Eurodrone programme and other combat programmes within the GSE department. The role focuses on identifying, designing, developing and validating GSE for operation and maintenance of aircraft in customer operations, with multinational collaboration.

The position involves creating technical specifications, supporting supplier selection, design follow-up and prototype

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Spanish (oral and written).
• Strong teamwork and open mindset.
• Good verbal and communication skills.
• Flexibility to travel and work in multinational teams.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of GSE technical specifications.
• Technical support to supplier selection.
• Design follow-up.
• Prototype manufacturing follow-up.
• Validation of the equipment on the aircraft.
• Qualification and compatibility tests.
• Preparation of GSE recommendations for customers.
• Site surveys of customer capabilities regarding GSE.
• Provide technical assistance to customers.
• Support on installation and commissioning of GSEs at customer MOB.
• Analysis of aircraft modifications and impact on GSEs.
