Healthcademia in Spain is seeking a Growth Projects Manager to support the development and implementation of growth initiatives, including new university-affiliated centres, programme launches, internationalisation of selected programmes, and new partnerships with universities, healthcare groups and other organisations.

Formación

  • 3–5 years of professional experience in higher education, consulting, strategy, or project management.
  • Strong understanding of the higher education sector, with healthcare education experience a plus.
  • Experience with university partnerships, new campuses or affiliated centres is highly valued.
  • Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in Excel.
  • Ability to structure information and create senior-level PowerPoint presentations.
  • Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English.
  • Proactive, ownership-driven, and comfortable in uncertain environments.

Responsabilidades

  • Support the analysis of new growth opportunities and prepare partnership proposals.
  • Conduct market, competitor and demand analyses to support decision-making.
  • Help structure new academic and business initiatives and develop implementation plans.
  • Maintain project plans, timelines and dependencies across multiple teams.
  • Coordinate with Academic, Quality, Operations, Marketing, Sales, Finance and Legal teams to progress actions on time.
  • Prepare regular project updates and reporting for senior management.

Descripción del empleo

We are looking for a Growth Projects Manager to support the development and implementation of Healthcademia’s growth initiatives in Spain.

Working closely with the Director of Growth Projects and the Growth Director, Spain, this person will participate in projects from the initial opportunity assessment through to implementation and launch.

Our main growth initiatives include the development of new university-affiliated centres, the launch of new university and proprietary healthcare programmes, the internationalisation of selected programmes, and new partnerships with universities, healthcare groups and other organisations.

The role combines business analysis, strategy and project coordination in a dynamic and highly transversal environment.

Key responsibilities
1. New growth opportunities
  • Support the analysis of new business and growth opportunities.
  • Participate in the preparation of partnership proposals with universities, healthcare groups and other potential partners.
  • Conduct market, competitor and demand analyses to support decision-making.
  • Help structure new academic and business initiatives.
2. Strategy & business planning
  • Support the preparation of strategies and business plans for new projects.
  • Work with Finance and other teams to collect and analyse the information required to assess new initiatives.
  • Prepare clear analyses, recommendations and presentations for management.
  • Support the preparation of materials for senior management and Board discussions.
  • Help translate approved projects into clear implementation plans and timelines.
  • Maintain project plans, Gantt charts, milestones and key dependencies.
  • Coordinate with Academic, Quality, Operations, Marketing, Sales, Finance and Legal teams to ensure agreed actions progress on time.
  • Support the preparation and follow-up of academic and regulatory processes related to new centres and programmes.
  • Anticipate key requirements such as faculty, facilities, equipment, marketing campaigns and sales readiness.
  • Monitor progress, identify potential delays or risks and help find solutions.
  • Prepare regular project updates and reporting.
Profile
  • 3-5 years of professional experience, ideally in higher education, consulting, strategy, business development or project management.
  • Good understanding of the higher education / university sector. Experience in healthcare education is a plus.
  • Exposure to new academic programmes, university partnerships, new campuses or affiliated centres would be highly valued.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfortable working with Excel and data.
  • Ability to structure information and create clear, senior-level PowerPoint presentations.
  • Good project-management and organisational skills.
  • Comfortable coordinating multiple stakeholders and following up on actions and deadlines.
  • Fluent Spanish and English.
  • Collaborative and comfortable working across different teams.
  • Proactive and willing to take ownership.
  • Structured and highly organised.
  • Comfortable working in an environment where not everything is defined from day one.
  • Curious, resourceful and solution-oriented.
  • Able to combine analytical thinking with a hands-on approach.
  • Motivated by the education and healthcare sectors and by building new projects with tangible impact.
