Ardmac in Madrid, Spain, seeks a Group Data Manager to lead data strategy, governance and the Helix platform across the group. This full-time on-site role requires hands-on data architecture, vendor management and building a high-calibre data team capable of delivering scalable, governed data assets.

The candidate will own the Group Master Data programme, ensure GDPR compliance, and coordinate with regional IT leads to harmonise standards across Portugal, France, Ireland, Spain and Italy.

Formación

• Hands-on experience in data architecture and engineering.
• Able to personally build pipelines, data models and reports.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric ecosystem (OneLake, Data Factory / pipelines, Power BI semantic models, Purview) or Azure Synapse.
• Experience managing external vendors and consultancies: RFQs/RFPs, contracts, delivery accountability.
• Experience building or growing a data team, including hiring and coaching.
• GDPR/data privacy knowledge across EU jurisdictions.
• Languages: Fluent English and Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Define and own data strategy & architecture for the Group, including lakehouse/medallion patterns and governance.
• Lead the Group's data governance framework: catalog, quality rules, ownership, and change control.
• Own Helix platform roadmap, budget and prioritisation for a mature, group-wide data platform.
• Manage external data, BI and Fabric delivery partners end-to-end and drive vendor selections.
• Build and integrate the Group Data team and ensure scalable operating practices.
• Represent data topics in the Group AI & Data Council and align initiatives with group standards.
