Zurich Insurance Group is seeking a motivated intern to join the group audit team at ServiZurich in Barcelona. The internship offers hands-on exposure to audit planning, data analysis, and reporting to senior leadership, with a flexible schedule and a strong learning environment.

Ideal candidates are active economics/accounting students, fluent in English, able to commit to 6 months and 25 hours per week. Join a global insurer and gain insurtech exposure in a collaborative setting.

Formación

• Active student status with a Spanish university is mandatory.
• Bachelor’s student in Economics, Accounting (completed minimum 3 semesters).
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Able to establish a collaboration agreement with the University/Business School for a minimum of 6 months.
• Availability to dedicate around 25 hours per week to this internship.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in audit planning activities and support the semi-annual planning cycle.
• Analyze operational management information to ensure timely delivery with quality.
• Prepare summaries for Senior Management, Board AC and regulators.

Group Audit Intern – ServiZurich

We are looking for a motivated intern to join our group audit team at ServiZurich.

Who Are We?

Zurich Insurance Group is a global leader in insurance. ServiZurich, established in Barcelona in 2006, is an integral part of Zurich Insurance Group, providing technological solutions and support to Zurich's local and global business units along with investment, administration, and accounting services.

What can you expect?

• Audit planning activities including refinement and reinforcement of the audit planning process, supporting Audit Leaders with the semi-annual planning cycle, and preparation of the annual Group Audit Plan Report and Addendum.
• Analysis and communication of operational management information to support timely delivery with quality.
• Reporting (in summary form) to Senior Management, Board AC and regulators, including the lead regulator, FINMA.
• Work location: Barcelona.

What Makes You a Great Fit?

• Active student status with a Spanish university/school is mandatory.
• Bachelor’s student in Economics, Accounting (completed minimum 3 semesters); ideally at the Master’s stage.
• Methodical, rigorous attention to detail and ability to identify issues and solve problems.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
• Advanced skills in Excel (especially), Word and SharePoint are an advantage.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Able to establish a collaboration agreement with the University and/or Business School for a minimum of 6 months, with possibility of extension.
• Availability to dedicate around 25 hours per week to this internship.
• Efficient level of Microsoft Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint).
• Interest in the Insurtech world.
• Enthusiastic, capable, and eager to learn.
• Good team player with a responsible, can-do attitude.
