Job summary

IREN Group is seeking a DC Engineer Greenfield in Spain to support technical development and follow-up of new-build data center projects within the Technical & Design Department. You will coordinate and review design docs, site constraints, interfaces, and deliverables to ensure alignment with requirements and operational performance.

Reporting to the DC Engineering Lead, the role focuses on pre-construction activities, testing layouts, and managing information trackers, while coordinating

Qualifications

• Experience in data center engineering and design coordination.
• Ability to review technical drawings, specs, and trackers.
• Strong coordination across MEP, electrical, cooling, and civil interfaces.
• Proficient with Office suite; BIM tools valued (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks).

Responsibilities

• Support the technical review of greenfield data center projects against site requirements.
• Prepare and review preliminary test-fit layouts for space and infrastructure.
• Coordinate inputs with MEP, electrical, cooling, BIM, and operations teams.
• Maintain trackers, action logs, and documentation registers.
• Assess site conditions, plot constraints, and permitting inputs.
• Consolidate inputs from external consultants and suppliers.
• Prepare meeting documentation and escalate technical risks.
• Ensure consistency with engineering standards and procedures.
