EIT Urban Mobility is seeking a Grant Financial Officer to join the Finance Team in Barcelona. You will ensure grant assurance and financial compliance across the grant lifecycle, supporting sub-grantees and internal stakeholders to meet Horizon Europe and funder requirements.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in an audit firm, with at least 3 years auditing EU-funded projects. Strong English, analytical ability, and teamwork are essential for success in this international setting.

Formación

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in an audit firm, including at least 3 years auditing EU-funded projects.
• Experience with organisations with complex governance structures, multiple legal entities, diverse stakeholders, and European networks.
• Experience in the financial management and monitoring of EU-funded projects.
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English (C1).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to a variety of audiences.
• Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills.
• Hands-on, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Support partners in understanding and interpreting the rules of Horizon Europe.
• Contribute to audit processes (EIT Certificate on the Financial Statements, internal checks, statutory audits).
• Ensure proper allocation of costs for each transaction with Accounting and Controlling functions.
• Support internal teams and sub-grantees during amendments to Financial Support Agreements.
• Contribute to continuous NetSuite improvements with the IT team.
• Assist in budget planning, financing decisions, and annual Business Plan preparation and monitoring.
