You will support the origination and execution of project finance transactions, contribute to credit analyses, financial models, and financing documentation as a proactive member of deal teams.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree, demonstrates strong financial analysis and modelling skills, and fluent Spanish and English.

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Graduate to join our Project Finance - Sector and Specialized Lending Team of Wholesale Banking. The responsibility of this team is to provide project financing to our clients across different sectors and our way of working is in very close cooperation with other departments of the bank, leveraging our sector expertise and network.

Your Role And Work Environment

As a Graduate you will contribute positively to the origination and execution of project finance transactions, under appropriate supervision depending on the complexity of each opportunity. You will co‑create credit analyses, ratings, commercial proposals, financial models, supporting annexes, term sheets and financing documentation as an active member of deal teams, working closely with internal stakeholders and external advisors. You will ensure that the quality, accuracy and completeness of all deliverables enable ING and other stakeholders to make well‑informed decisions, while supporting the successful execution of transactions and the delivery of high‑quality client solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities

Positively contribute to the origination and execution of project finance transactions, under appropriate supervision depending on the complexity of each opportunity.
Co‑create credit analyses, ratings, commercial proposals, financial models, supporting annexes, term sheets and financing documentation as an active member of deal teams, working closely with internal stakeholders and external advisors.
Ensure that the quality, accuracy and completeness of all deliverables enable ING and other stakeholders to make well‑informed decisions, while supporting the successful execution of transactions and the delivery of high‑quality client solutions.

What are we looking for?

The ideal candidate should be an ambitious professional with a Master's degree and above‑average academic performance, as well as previous experience in the financial sector, accounting, or an advisory firm (including internships), preferably within a lending, structured finance or credit risk environment. The candidate should possess strong financial analysis, financial modelling and problem‑solving skills, together with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English. Knowledge of the Renewable Energy, Energy and TMT sectors will be considered a strong plus.

In addition, we expect the candidate to demonstrate the following key personal qualities:

Buscamos una persona con talento y entusiasmo para incorporarse como Graduate a nuestro equipo de Project Finance - Sector and Specialized Lending de Wholesale Banking. La responsabilidad de este equipo es proporcionar financiación de proyectos a nuestra clientela en diferentes sectores, y nuestra forma de trabajar se basa en una colaboración muy estrecha con otros departamentos del banco, aprovechando nuestra experiencia sectorial y nuestra red de contactos.

Tus Responsabilidades Principales

• Contribuir de forma positiva a la originación y ejecución de operaciones de financiación de proyectos, con la supervisión adecuada en función de la complejidad de cada oportunidad.
• Coparticipar en la elaboración de análisis de crédito, ratings, propuestas comerciales, modelos financieros, anexos de soporte, term sheets y documentación de financiación, como parte activa de los equipos de operaciones, trabajando estrechamente con stakeholders internos/as y asesores/as externos/as.
• Garantizar que la calidad, exactitud e integridad de todos los entregables permitan a ING y a las demás partes interesadas tomar decisiones bien fundamentadas, apoyando al mismo tiempo la correcta ejecución de las operaciones y la entrega de soluciones de alta calidad para la clientela.

¿Qué estamos buscando?

La persona ideal debe ser una profesional ambiciosa o un profesional ambicioso con un título de Máster y un rendimiento académico superior a la media, además de experiencia previa en el sector financiero, contabilidad o en una firma de consultoría (incluyendo prácticas), preferiblemente en un entorno de financiación, financiación estructurada o riesgo de crédito.

La persona candidata deberá contar con sólidas capacidades de análisis financiero, modelización financiera y resolución de problemas, así como excelentes habilidades de comunicación escrita y verbal tanto en español como en inglés. Se valorará muy positivamente el conocimiento de los sectores de Energías Renovables, Energía y TMT.
